Before you start
To invite promoters to a campaign, your workspace must be on the Organizer Core or Pro plan. Free workspaces can create events but cannot run contracted promoter campaigns.
You can only invite promoters once you have enabled managed promotion for a specific event.
Enable managed promotion
- Open your event from the Events tab.
- Navigate to the Audience section during event creation or setup.
- Toggle Managed promotion to on.
- Review the campaign pricing and service terms presented by Crowdstack.
- Confirm to activate the campaign for this event.
Invite promoters
Once the campaign is active, you can add suppliers from the Crowdstack network.
Add an existing promoter
If the promoter already has a Crowdstack account:
- Select Search existing promoters.
- Enter the promoter's name or city to find their profile.
- Select the correct profile from the search results.
- The system will send an invitation to the promoter to accept the campaign engagement.
Invite a new promoter
If you wish to work with someone new to the platform:
- Select Invite new promoter.
- Send the invitation via the provided link or contact details.
The individual will receive instructions to join the Crowdstack network, complete their supplier profile, and accept your campaign terms. They cannot earn payable fees until they complete this verification and accept the engagement.
What happens next
- Attribution: Once a promoter accepts, Crowdstack generates unique attribution links for them. You can share these links or let the promoter access them via their dashboard at /app/promoter/events.
- Tracking: Registrations and check-ins linked to these codes accumulate as evidence for the campaign.
- Earnings: Promoter earnings remain estimated until the event ends, closeout review is complete, and the performance snapshot is locked.
You can view the status of all invitations and accepted engagements in the Promoters section of your workspace.
