What is an organiser workspace?
Your organiser workspace is the home for your brand, team and events on Crowdstack. Subscriptions, billing and team permissions live here. You can belong to more than one workspace if you operate several brands.
Guests and promoters do not pay to join. Only organiser workspaces subscribe to unlock commercial features.
Create your workspace
- Sign in to your Crowdstack account.
- Choose Create workspace or accept the default workspace created with your account.
- Enter your workspace name (for example, your brand or company name).
- Save to continue.
Your workspace starts on the Free plan. You can publish unlimited events immediately.
Add your team
Bring in the people who will help you run events.
- Go to Me in the bottom navigation.
- Select Team or Invite members.
- Enter the email address or phone number of the person you want to invite.
- Choose their role:
- Owner: full control, billing ownership and the ability to transfer or delete the workspace.
- Admin: manage team, brands, events and campaigns.
- Finance: handle subscriptions, charges, invoices, reports and disputes.
- Event manager: create and manage events, promoters and guest lists.
- Door staff: access the Door Scanner for assigned events only.
- Send the invitation.
Invited members accept the invitation to join your workspace. A person can hold different roles in different workspaces.
Assign roles correctly
Roles control what each person can do:
- Only Owners, Admins and Event managers can create or edit events.
- Finance users cannot change event setup or guest lists.
- Door staff see only their assigned live events in the Door Scanner at /door.
Server-side rules enforce these limits. Hiding buttons is not the security boundary.
Publish your first event
You do not need a paid plan to publish.
- Go to Events in the bottom navigation.
- Tap Create event.
- Complete the three steps: basics, look and details, then audience.
- Toggle Managed promotion if you want to run a promoter campaign (requires Core or Pro).
- Publish to create your public page at
/e/[slug].
Guests can register without approval. Your door team can check them in using the Door Scanner.
Upgrade when you are ready
Upgrade from Free to Core or Pro when you need:
- Contracted promoter campaigns and managed payouts.
- Door-team assignment and multi-device operations.
- Guest CRM exports and advanced analytics.
- Table enquiries and AI-assisted closeout.
Visit Finance in your workspace to view plans and upgrade. Your existing events and records remain safe if you later cancel or fall back to Free.
