Signing in and account security

How signing in works

Crowdstack accounts belong to you as a person, not to a single workspace or role. You can use one account to manage organiser workspaces, work as a promoter supplier, attend events as a guest, or check guests in as door staff.

WhatsApp is your primary sign-in method. You should also keep a verified email address, Telegram connection or password as a recovery method for the same account. You do not need Telegram to access your account; core access and recovery work without it.

Recovering your account

If you cannot sign in:

  1. Go to the sign-in page.
  2. Enter the email address or phone number associated with your account.
  3. Follow the link or enter the code sent to you via email, SMS or WhatsApp.
  4. If you have set a password, you may use it to sign in directly.
  5. To reset a forgotten password, request a reset link sent to your verified email address.

Account recovery does not depend on a single third-party channel. You can regain access using email or phone even if you no longer use Telegram or WhatsApp.

Managing multiple workspaces and roles

After signing in, you can switch between Personal, Promoter and Organiser modes. In Organiser mode, select the specific workspace you want to work in. Your permissions (Owner, Admin, Finance, Event manager or Door staff) apply only within that workspace.

If you also have a promoter supplier profile, you can switch to Promoter mode to view campaigns, earnings and invoices without leaving your account.

Keeping your account secure

  • Use a strong password of at least 10 characters if you enable password sign-in.
  • Do not share your sign-in codes with anyone.
  • Keep your recovery email and phone number up to date in your account settings.
  • Verify any pending email changes by opening the confirmation link sent to your inbox.
  • If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password immediately and contact Crowdstack operations.

Privacy and data controls

You control what others see about your attendance. You can make your presence at an event private at any time by updating your attendance visibility in the event details. Your personal contact information is never shown publicly unless you choose to enable contact discovery.

You can download your account data or request account deletion from the account controls section. Deletion starts a reviewed request and is not immediate.
